This dwarf Fir has short, dark evergreen needles with a white stomatic band on the underside. The foliage has the charachteristic balsam fragrance. Extremely slow growing. A 12 year old specimen grows to less than 12" tall. Thrives in moist acidic soil and tolerates partial shade. Grafted. Keep outdoors. 15 years old. 16" tall.
