Trident Maple Over Rock (acer buergerianum)

A traditional subject for bonsai, this Trident Maple is well known for the superb colors of its foliage in autumn. To add additional interest, the trunk is trained over and around a rock. Its textured bark which is a dappled pale brown, exfoliates with age revealing a grey, orange and brown color.
